Food is more than just a meal at an event. It tells a story, honors family traditions, and celebrates culture. Food at Saint Patrick Palace becomes the centerpiece thanks to our open vendor policy. Couples and families are free to bring in the chefs, caterers, or food trucks they love most. That freedom ensures every event feels authentic and deeply personal.
In fact, food trucks have become one of the hottest wedding trends in South Florida. They add excitement, bring a casual yet stylish vibe, and offer guests the fun of choosing meals straight from the window. From late-night tacos to mobile espresso bars, food trucks turn a menu into an experience.
South Florida, a region renowned for its cultural diversity, is a perfect fit for food trucks. Our community is a melting pot of cuisines, where dishes like paella, jerk chicken, roti, matzo ball soup, and ceviche are everyday favorites. At Saint Patrick Palace, we’ve seen how pairing our open vendor policy with the creativity of local food trucks and caterers creates unforgettable events.
Caribbean Flavors That Spark Joy

Haitian Cuisine
Haitian food is bold, colorful, and packed with flavor. Traditional dishes combine rich marinades, slow cooking, and just the right amount of spice. Guests at our estate have enjoyed staples like griot (crispy fried pork), diri kole (rice and beans), and tangy pikliz (pickled vegetables). Each bite captures the essence of Haitian hospitality. One of our featured partners is Dory’s Event Catering Services, located in Pembroke Pines, FL. Their menu brought an authentic taste of Port-au-Prince straight to Davie. From tender meats to fried plantains, their dishes turned a wedding reception into a full cultural celebration. The line at their station never slowed down, proving just how much guests appreciate soulful Caribbean food.
Jamaican Cuisine
Few cuisines light up a celebration like Jamaican food. Jerk chicken has become iconic in its own right, with its smoky seasoning and fiery marinade. Other dishes, such as curried goat and oxtail stew, add depth and richness to any menu. Jamaican cooking is all about layers of spice, slow braising, and char-grilled flavor. We were thrilled to welcome Food Eyez Caribbean Cuisine to our estate. Their pot of brown stew chicken filled the air with the scent of pimento and scotch bonnet peppers. Guests loved the interactive element of watching meats grilled on-site, then enjoying them with warm festival bread. It was not just food. It was a show.
North American Comforts
Mexican Cuisine
Mexican food is lively, vibrant, and full of zest. Tacos, tamales, and elote (street corn) have all appeared at Saint Patrick Palace events. These dishes not only satisfy but also encourage interaction and conversation. Food stations and taco carts naturally become gathering points where guests laugh, mingle, and build their own plates. Our neighbors at The Mexican Taco Truck in Weston, FL, transformed our estate into a true fiesta. Their truck rolled next to the travertine patio and immediately set the tone with sizzling sounds and fresh aromas. Guests lined up for tacos al pastor, served with handmade tortillas, lime, and cilantro. Even late into the night, the truck kept the celebration alive, serving hungry dancers with a smile. The vibrant truck added character, fun, and flavor, making it a highlight of the wedding weekend.
Southern Soul Food Cuisine
Soul food warms the heart. It is about comfort, tradition, and togetherness. Dishes like fried chicken, mac and cheese, collard greens, and cornbread feel like home. When served family-style, they bring guests together around the table, reminding everyone of Sunday dinners with loved ones. We partnered with The Way To Your Heart Catering to bring those traditions to life. Their fried chicken was perfectly crisp and juicy. Their peach cobbler disappeared within minutes. Guests felt not only satisfied but also connected to the story behind the meal. That is the beauty of soul food—it nourishes body and spirit alike.
South American Traditions
Argentinian Cuisine
Argentinian cooking is all about the grill and asado; this tradition is both a meal and a gathering. Thick cuts of beef are seasoned simply, then cooked slowly over wood or charcoal. Paired with chimichurri, the flavors are unmatched. Empanadas also bring variety and portability, making them perfect cocktail-hour bites. The Asado Authority wowed guests at one of our weddings with a live grill station. The smoky aroma drew people in, while the presentation of sizzling steak and lamb created a sense of excitement. It was not just dinner—it was theater.
Peruvian Cuisine
Peruvian food is one of the world’s most celebrated cuisines, known for its vibrant colors and fusion of cultures. Dishes like ceviche bring brightness and freshness, while lomo saltado offers hearty comfort. The mix of Spanish, Asian, and Indigenous influences creates a unique culinary experience. At Saint Patrick Palace, Miami Grill Catering from Hialeah, FL delivered a cocktail-hour ceviche bar where guests sampled citrus-marinated fish served in elegant cups. The vibrant display of colors made it both delicious and Instagram-worthy. Their dishes added sophistication and flair to the celebration.
Middle Eastern Elegance

Jewish Cuisine
Jewish food carries tradition and meaning, especially at weddings, anniversaries, and mitzvahs. From brisket and latkes to fresh challah, the dishes create a sense of celebration and belonging. Desserts like rugelach bring sweetness to the occasion. We were honored to feature Elegant Kosher Catering & Events at a wedding ceremony & reception earlier this year. Their challah station was not just a meal—it was a gathering point. Guests broke bread together, sharing laughter and joy. The menu paid tribute to heritage while offering universal comfort.
Lebanese Cuisine
Lebanese food is fresh, vibrant, and perfect for events. Spreads of hummus, falafel, shawarma, and tabbouleh encourage sharing. The meze-style service works beautifully at weddings, where guests enjoy trying a variety of small bites. At one of our receptions, One Lebanese Cuisine in Sunrise, FL, curated a lavish meze table. Bowls of creamy hummus, plates of lamb skewers, and stacks of warm pita created a feast for both the eyes and palate. The presentation felt abundant, and the flavors kept guests coming back.
DIY Home Cooking
Not every couple or host wants to outsource food completely. Some wish to honor family traditions by cooking for themselves. With our chef’s kitchen, families can bring their own recipes to life. From grandma’s lentil soup to a secret curry recipe, these meals add personal meaning to a celebration. Guests don’t just taste the food—they feel the love behind it.
Celebrating Freedom of Flavor
At Saint Patrick Palace, we believe food should reflect your story. Our open vendor policy gives you the freedom to design your dream menu without limits. Whether you hire a local restaurant, book a food truck, or prepare family recipes, the estate is your canvas. With the rise of food trucks at weddings, the options are more exciting than ever. A truck parked near the patio becomes both a meal service and an experience—one your guests will remember long after the night ends.
From Haitian griot to Argentinian asado, from Peruvian ceviche to late-night Mexican tacos served from a food truck, we’ve seen how food creates connection. It sparks conversation, honors tradition, and makes guests feel truly celebrated. That is why an Airbnb wedding at Saint Patrick Palace is unlike any other. It’s not just about the venue. It’s about the flavors, the freedom, and the memories you create—sometimes right at the window of a food truck under the stars.
